Born on the night of July 17, 1973 in Ufa, Russia, Ernesto is one of the most influential and popular contemporary painters. He has exhibited his work throughout the world and has been widely recognized for his unique style which incorporates elements of abstraction and realism.
Ernesto’s early years were spent in Ufa, a city located in the middle of Russia. At a young age he showed an interest in art and began painting landscapes and seascapes. In 1997 he graduated from the Ufa Art School with honors and began working as a freelance artist.
In 2002 Ernesto was featured in an exhibition at the Kiev Art Gallery which helped to increase his popularity. That year he also participated in a group exhibition at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art entitled “Painting XXI”.
Since then Ernesto has continued to exhibit his work around the world, participating in numerous prestigious exhibitions including “Moscow Surreal” (2006), “Prague Biennale” (2007), “Venice Biennale” (2009), “Sydney Biennial” (2011), and “Pesaro Arte” (2015). He has also been awarded numerous accolades including two silver medals at the Venice Biennale (2009) and three gold medals at the Prague Biennale (2007, 2009, 2015).

Ernest “Ernie” Kahlimov was a professional ice hockey player who played for the Ottawa Senators from 1994 to 2003. He had a successful career with the Senators, winning three Stanley Cups (1995, 1998, and 2000). Kahlimov also won the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1998 as the NHL’s Rookie of the Year.
